It’s 9:30 last Tuesday night. The laptop is open. There’s a queue of things that could reasonably occupy the next two hours: a film, a scroll, a newsletter I’ve been meaning to read, the ambient pull of just a little more. Instead, I close the computer, set the alarm, and go to bed.
